My morning cup.
anantoinetteaffair asked: Hi. I've been wanting to get a bottle of Dalmore 12 Year Old Single Malt whisky for a while, but it's a bit pricey at about £40 a bottle. Would you know if it's any good, or could possibly recommend anything else? Thank you!
Dalmore 12 is very rich and spice forward - a good entry into highland sherried malts. There are a few options if you are wanting something less expensive. If you are wanting something sherried such as the twelve, I would suggest looking at Aberfeldy 12 (bit of peat), GlenDronach (very sherried) and even the Balvenie Double Wood.
